The Sæplast 505 insulated fish and meat tub is an easy to handle and multifunctional container. It is well suited for fresh food handling in the global food industry. The Sæplast 505 fish and meat tub is double walled with a PUR core and a high insulation factor and it is available in ATP version (certified for chilled transport). It is commonly used for onboard handling for smaller boats as its size makes it easy to lift and carry. Sæplast 505 insulated fish and meat tub can be used for example as an icebox, fish box, meat container, poultry and recycle container or whatever suits the customer. The lid is included. Special versions of lid has also been developed for the octopus industry with a corner opening.
The insulation and strength factor - temperature control
Sæplast plastic containers are seamless rotomoulded double-walled containers. PUR refers to the polyurethane insulation injected into the walls of the tubs, ensuring a very high insulation factor. The primary benefit of PUR containers is temperature retention and control.
